Children's SpikeBall, in association with Fingal County Council, City of Dublin VEC and Volleyball Coaching & Education Services (John Walsh) are launching a new SpikeBall Volleyball Initiative in the Blanchardstown Area of Dublin 15.

The initiative aims to establish a place for Children & teenagers aged 7-18 to play and develop Volleyball on a regular basis with the plan to establish a new Volleyball Club in the Area. Fingal is the fourth largest county in Ireland in population terms and having the highest number of new housing completions is likely the fastest growing in population growth terms. It has the youngest population of any county and the highest rate of labour force participation. The last census indicated a population of 239,000 with growth projections to 260,000 by the year 2010. With such a large young population base there is no better time to try to develop a new Volleyball Club that aims to grow from Children & Teenagers into a Community Club that serves all ages and abilities.

The initiative will begin on Friday 29th February at 3-5pm in Corduff Sports Centre and will then continue for a further six (6) Weeks.
