Volleyball Ireland welcomes further clarity from the Dept. of Health via Sport Ireland in relation to the Government's recent tightening of Covid19 restrictions.
-Matches, Tournaments and events can proceed in line with existing protocols, except that spectators are not permitted to attend.
-Training sessions must be limited to 12 people per court. With no more than 6 people per group in a 'pod' during indoor training sessions. These training pods must not mix with other training pods during the session.

Gyms/leisure centres/swimming pools/exercise and dance studios can remain open with strict distancing and other appropriate protective measures in place:
Guideline: Exercise and dance classes should be limited to 6 people and observe physical distancing rules.
Groups exercising outdoors should be limited to 15 people, including training sessions. There should be no mixing between groups.
