Background:
Over the last 6 years I have worked full time in France. During these 6 years, I did 3 seasons as a Coach and General Manager of VBC Cambrai (men's senior pro team from northern France). Then 4 seasons as Coach for AS Saint Raphael (Women's senior pro team from southern France).
I hold a Certified State Diploma from the French Ministry of Sport and Youth (BEES 1)
A National Coaching Certification Level 2 (EF2, France)
A National Coaching Certification Level 1 (VAI 1, Ireland)
As a coach and player, I have spent and still spend a lot of time around the Volleyball Circuit. I have been in charge of various teams from Clubs to Schools, Boys and Girls, Lower and Higher Level. I have gained valuable experience as a coach and player and would like to share my knowledge and experience with anybody having an interest in our sport, but most of all, I would like to help in anyway to develop and promote Volleyball and Spikeball in Ireland. In June 2009, I was appointed Coach for the Irish Men's National Team.
Description of Services:
Presently I am a Licensed Regional Development Officer for South Dublin and Wicklow. I also coach the National Men's Volleyball Team. My main goal is to coach and teach Spikeball as I find it an exciting and enjoyable game that introduces our sport.
Adults: Coming from the world of sport, I find it exciting and healthy to share my knowledge with anyone who is willing to learn. I can do classes for adults who would like to play Volleyball or Spikeball as a leisure activity.
Children: There are two areas that I work in with children.
- This is in the area of Spikeball, in which I work in close collaboration with coaches and teachers.
- The school of movement, in which a movement activity for 3-6 year olds. This activity is adapted to be used tin clubs and schools.
I can also coach teachers and other coaches, most of which would be involved in Volleyball already.
I would like to offer my knowledge and experiences to Federations, Clubs and Sport Organisations in order to build up programs.
