Club and Team Registration

Applications for team entries for the 2022/23 National League season are now closed, and the season will begin in early October and run through to early May 2023.

To submit expressions of interest, clubs are asked to register online including details of Teams and Players.
The Schedule of Fees can be found here.
The costs that the club would need to pay are,

  • Club Bond
  • Club Affiliation Fee
  • Premier League and/or D1/2 team entry fee
  • Indoor Player Registration Fee
  • Club insurance

Other costs would include Referee and Coach Registration. Teams are required to have qualified personnel to officiate and coach at league matches.

Club Structure

Volleyball Ireland requires clubs to have a club structure in place, in terms of a committee structure and club governance. The below committee structure is required and the Volleyball Ireland Clubmark program is a great way to ensure club governance is in place.
So a Club Committee the club would need to include,

  • Chairperson
  • Secretary
  • Treasurer
  • *Children’s Officer (If U18s are in the club)
  • *Designated Liaison Person (If U18s are in the club)

*These positions are required to be Garda Vetted through Volleyball Ireland and attend required Sport Ireland Safeguarding Workshops.
More information on the above workshops is available from info@volleyballireland.com
