While there is ongoing uncertainty about the virus in Ireland, it is important to familiarise yourselves with the facts and advice about the virus on The Health Protection Surveillance Centre\u2019s website at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hpsc.ie\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.hpsc.ie<\/a> and also The Health Service Executive website <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hse.ie\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.hse.ie<\/a><br \/>\u00a0<br \/>Below are some helpful tips which we would like to remind everyone to familiarise themselves with:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Regularly clean your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.<\/li>\n<li>Dry your hands after washing as damp can help germs to breed, allowing them to spread more easily onto whatever you touch next.<\/li>\n<li>Avoid hugging or kissing people.<\/li>\n<li>Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.<\/li>\n<li>Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then dispose of the tissue in the bin.<\/li>\n<li>If you don\u2019t have a tissue, cough or sneeze into your elbow.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Volleyball Ireland recommends also that players and officials refrain from shaking hands before\/after matches until further notice.
