What is a Code of Conduct?
A Code of Conduct is a set of rules and regulations that include what is and is not acceptable and expected behaviour within and when representing your club.
Why is it important?
As mentioned above a Code of Conduct is a set of rules and regulations. It also clarifies the mission and values of the club and sets the culture of the club. Having a Code of Conduct in place supports club committees for if issues are to arise they are easier to deal with. The important aspect is that club members (juniors and adults), club volunteers (coaches, referees, supervisors etc..) and parents reads and signs the code of conduct stating they understand and agree to comply.
Where do I get one?
