About Us

Volleyball Ireland is the governing body of volleyball in the Republic of Ireland. Today, over 10,000 people are involved in Volleyball within Ireland either playing through schools, clubs or being involved as coaches, officials and volunteers. The purpose of Volleyball Ireland is to actively create an environment where volleyball can flourish.

Volleyball Ireland controls the activities of all Ireland’s international volleyball teams and is affiliated to The European Volleyball Confederation (CEV) and also Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB). Through its own affiliated bodies Volleyball Ireland also organises all domestic competitions.

Volleyball Ireland is also active in the training and education of players, coaches and officials and aims to develop better facilities and support services for all those involved in the game.

Volleyball Ireland offers a range of programmes from Beach, Indoor and Sitting Volleyball to ensure participation is available for all.
