Club Support

The volunteers can take advantage of the community resources available for volunteer sports groups to help with all the various aspects of running a club. These support options could include grants, advice, coaching courses, resources, facilities, league affiliations, etc.

VLY. Club Support

As NGB, Volleyball Ireland is the main point of contact for clubs seeking support.

Our club support officer is available for all clubs seeking for general information about setting up a club, raising funds, club management and promotion.

For any concern with children safety and safeguarding policies, the National Children officer is the referring point at national level.

The Operations Manager is the point of contact for any queries about National Leagues and events.

Local Sports Partnerships

Local Sport Partnerships can support clubs in different stages of their development.

LSPs are in contact with schools and local councils. Therefore, they can support you into finding a new venue where to train. They can insert your club in their county list and promote your activities in order for you to find new members.

They often provide grants for the development of clubs. If you are looking for funding, check out their website or contact the development manager of the LSP where your club is based. Find your LSP contact here.

Local Councils

Local Councils own and manage facilities all over their territory. It could be beneficial for clubs to be connected with Local councils in case your are looking for a new venue or a new time for your trainings or matches. They may be promoting your activity in the local community, supporting you in finding local sponsors.
