Unfortunately, due to the poor weather forecast tomorrow’s King & Queen of the Court event at Balbriggan Beach is cancelled.
The current forecast suggests base wind speeds and gusts in excess of 25km/h and 35km/h respectively. This combined with a strong chance of heavy rain in the afternoon means that the current forecast exceeds the parameters set in the VLY Beach Tour event cancellation policy.
A revised Beach Tour calendar is being devised with additional events to be added before the end of the Summer. The forecasted weather outlook for the rest of July is changeable, however rainfall and warmth projections for August and September are more positive.
