Volleyball Ireland are delighted to announce that TWO FIVB Coaching Courses will be delivered in Ireland this Summer.

FIVB 1 will take place in Maynooth from July 16-20.

FIVB 2 will will take place from August 13-17, with the final dots being placed on the host venue.

Formal applications will open on March 1st, but you can express your interest here.

Each course will cost in the region of €450 – discounts for VLY licensed coaches will apply and will be announced in due course.

Typically, all interested coaches can apply to complete FIVB 1, whilst Level 2 is reserved for those that have completed Level 1, and/or Coaches that have experience coaching at National Team level.

Volleyball Ireland CEO Gary Stewart was delighted to announce the opportunity, “It’s really exciting to host these two FIVB Coaching courses in Ireland this Summer. It’s a key part of our strategic plan to upskill and develop our coaches at all levels of the game, and this is a great next step forward. We are grateful to FIVB and President Azevedo for putting his trust in Volleyball Ireland to deliver for our domestic coaches and for those flying in.”

Whilst VLY Development Manager, and driving force behind recent Coach Education advancements Conor Flood added, “I’d urge our club and youth coaches to show interest in the Level 1 course. It will be an intensive course but the learning and networking will be invaluable to our community as we build our coaching pathway. To have a globally recognised certificate delivered by a world class coach developer will be a great benefit for our coaches and their clubs and schools.”
