Volleyball Ireland is delighted to announce several key appointments across its Commissions, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen leadership, enhance succession planning, and support the continued development of the sport across the country.
Volleyball Competitions Commission
Volleyball Ireland is pleased to confirm the appointment of Radha Naidoo from Gardians as President of the Volleyball Competitions Commission. Radha brings a wealth of experience and passion to the role and will be joined by long-standing members Fiona Dooley, Kevin Donnelly, and Dave Dalton whose expertise will be invaluable in supporting the Commission’s work.
Gavin, representing the Board, will serve as the Commission’s liaison.
We are currently seeking one or two additional members to join the Commission, ideally from clubs outside Dublin, to contribute fresh ideas, assist with workload, and prepare for future succession. With BMP, Santry, and Gardians already represented, this is an excellent opportunity for new voices to get involved and help shape the future of national competitions.
Referees Commission
We are delighted to announce the re-appointment of Giordano as President of the Referees Commission. Our sincere thanks go to Aurelian and Maria for their ongoing dedication and leadership in the development of referees at all levels.
Joining the team this year is Nousha Pouriya from Gardians, who will bring new energy and perspectives while learning the ropes of Commission work.
The Commission is also seeking one additional member, ideally someone new to Commission roles, with an interest in supporting the development and progression of referees nationwide.
PADACC (Player and Disciplinary Appeals & Conduct Commission)
Volleyball Ireland welcomes Siobhán McDonald from the newly formed Greystones Social Club to the PADACC. Siobhán takes over the oversight role previously held by Gráinne Culliton, joining Clodagh Nic Canna to ensure PADACC processes continue to run smoothly and effectively.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Gráinne for her time, dedication, and invaluable contribution during the Commission’s formative years.

If you’re passionate about growing volleyball in Ireland and would like to contribute your skills, ideas, and enthusiasm, we invite you to express interest in any of the open Commission positions. Your involvement can help shape the future of the sport at all levels.
