The annual Volleyball Ireland Masters Tournament is back. The Masters Tournament is a one day tournament which takes place on Saturday, 16th November in ALSAA near Dublin Airport (http://www.alsaa.ie/location).
It is open to all 35+ year olds (and to those playing Premier League who are 40 and over) who are interested in playing in a one day fun tournament. The main aim is to bring current and former players back together for a day of recreational volleyball.
Teams can be entered (https://volleyballireland.azolve.com/Workbench.mvc/Show/6?ref=9E93F51F2FC1760DE8BC273DD21D7DE44601E8B) however if you are an individual looking to join a team please email (info@volleyballireland.com) with your position and teams will be decided by Volleyball Ireland.
It costs €60 per team to enter. All players must be registered members of Volleyball Ireland. If you are not a signed up National League player you can affiliate as a ‘Non-League Player’ at (Inset link). The cost of an annual Non-League affiliation is €15. There is a list of member benefits on the membership portal.

- The closing date for entries is Tuesday, 12th November.
- Each team can have a maximum of 3 Men on court at all times.
- Any players who have registered as individuals will be allocated to a team.
- Informal uniform is permitted.
- Unlimited substitutions are permitted.
- All players and teams must register at the tournament desk in ALSAA no later than 10.05am on the Saturday before the commencement of the competition. Play will take place from 10:30 – 16:30 (approx.) across two courts.
- The format of the tournament will be timed sets and the schedule will be available at the tournament desk on Saturday morning. There will be no official on court warm-ups.
- All players must serve underhand and the net height will be 2.38m.
- Refreshments will be available to purchase in the Bowling Alley in ALSAA throughout the day and we will have a gathering in the bar upstairs at the conclusion of the day’s play.
