5 Nations Ready!

Ireland Head Coaches Mark Delahunty and Andrei Molnar have each named 14 players for this weekend’s inaugural 5 Nations Challenge in Kettering, England.

Team Ireland will be up against Scotland, Northern Ireland and hosts England, in a round-robin plus Gold/Bronze medal match system. The matches can be watched live on Volleyball England’s YouTube channel.

Snr Women’s Coach Mark Delahunty is excited about the challenge ahead, “What a great way to kick off 2025. Looking forward to some tough competition and hopefully a chance for us to showcase the progress we’ve made this season and to translate performances in training to a competitive environment.”

UCD’s Emily Frazell captains the Women’s team whilst Galway hitter Jerry Obiekwe leads the Men.
