National President Grainne Culliton opened proceedings and thanked the Volleyball community for their hard work and dedication throughout the year. Noting the CEV Continental Cup held last Summer as standout achievements for the organisation.
Co-opted Treasurer Barbara Wojcik-Jaruga provided a financial report which included a 32% income and expenditure increase versus the previous financial period.
The following elections took place:
Clodagh NicCanna (DVC) elected as Vice President unopposed.
Alfredo Aloi (Net Force) and Erica Fatini (Munster Thunder) elected as Ordinary Board Members unopposed.
Barbara Wojcik-Jaruga (Balbriggan) elected as Treasurer unopposed.
Volleyball Ireland Commissions presented relevant reports on Competitions & Development, Education & Training and High Performance. Before General Manager Gary Stewart introduced a progress update on strategic objectives and results from the 2020 Stakeholder Survey which shows a membership satisfaction improvement score in all areas.
Volleyball Ireland staff Conor Flood, Mark Leonard Doyle and Norma McIntyre provided summary information on youth development, club development and operational improvements.
