Call for Commission Members and Presidents

Dear Volleyball Community,

I am writing to you to call for applications for the Commissions as presented at the AGM in June. This is a bit later than planned but that’s not a problem as our existing fantastic commissions are still operational and of course we hope many of the members will continue on these commissions but under the new structure. This approach to Commission applications and appointments is a new approach which elevates and promotes the importance of the commissions . It also serves to professionalise our approach to these key responsibilities in line with good governance practices. The 6 commissions and the application process are explained in the attached pdf but please do mail [email protected] if you have any questions. 

The deadline for applications is August 30th. It will give us 2 weeks to review the applications and structure them to be presented to the Board for approval at the next Board meeting which is being held on September 14^th at the Sport Ireland Campus during the exciting Beach Finals!

Please note, you do not have to affiliated or nominated by a club. We welcome anyone interested in helping grow our sport.
