The VLY Beach Tour returned to action at a sun-drenched Bettystown Beach, and it was straight back to business for Zydre and Geidre Guobyte. The Gardians VC sisters are no stranger to success as the top two ranked pairs on the tour, but up until 0730am on the morning of the tournament they weren’t even in the line-up. A late withdrawal dragged them off the reserve list and they made the most of the opportunity overcoming Miriam Gormally and Kama Teterycz in the final 2-0.
