Clodagh Nic Canna has been the keystone of DVC since 2007 where she has taken on the roles of chairperson, secretary, and treasurer. She has been the driving force behind all initiatives in the club and gives her time and effort selflessly. She has also been an active player and coach for DVC, too much success. Her extraordinary contribution as a referee for DVC can also not go without mention!
Clodagh has been playing volleyball for 35 years, with many medals and awards to show for it. She has represented Ireland on several occasions spanning a couple of decades. She has also been a national grade referee for over 30 years. She is also vice president of the Volleyball Ireland and has also a key component of referee education for the volleyball community.
On top of her volleyball involvement, she still manages to rock being a mother of 2 lovely children and is a company director to boot. Clodagh is fiercely loyal, competitive, and determined she will give herself completely to any task. Wonder Woman!
