Volleyball Ireland were delighted to welcome the inspiring Belgian Coach Kristof de Loose to Dublin for the latest instalment of The Coaching Masterclass series.
De Loose, delivered a Coaches session on Thursday evening which included an overview of the 1v1, 2v2, 3v3 pathway that exists in Belgium. The emphasis being on three key elements; FUN, MOVEMENT and LEARNING.
20 coaches from a variety of clubs were represented including Ballymun, Newbridge, Naas, Santry, Tallaght Rockets, Dalkey Devils and Aer Lingus. After the theoretical elements the coaches were made to sweat as Kristof delivered a typical session for the group.

The following day Kristof delivered a teacher training workshop as part of the CEV Schools Project development day with South Dublin Sports Partnership. 16 teachers attended from 8 different schools who will be delivering Volleyball for the first time.
The feedback from the event has been universally positive and Volleyball Ireland would like to thank Kristof, Vuk Karanovic and Francois Watthez from the CEV for their support delivering the event.
