Volleyball Ireland’s U19 Men’s Beach National Team represented Ireland with pride at the 2026 Small Countries Association (SCA) Beach Volleyball Championships in Andorra, producing a number of impressive performances throughout the tournament to finish joint 5th overall.
Ireland began the tournament against Liechtenstein in a tightly contested opening match. After taking the first set, the boys battled hard but were narrowly edged out in a deciding third set.

Despite the defeat, the performance showed plenty of promise heading into the remainder of the group stage.
The team bounced back brilliantly in their second match, delivering a composed performance to defeat the Faroe Islands in straight sets.

Confidence continued to build as Ireland followed that victory with another impressive straight-sets win over tournament hosts Andorra.

Ireland’s final pool match came against Gibraltar, where the boys pushed hard throughout, particularly in a closely fought second set.

The result saw Ireland progress to the Quarter-Finals, where they would face another Gibraltar pairing.
