Volleyball Ireland aims to support Social Volley activities, to grow the Irish volleyball community and to allow everyone looking for a place to play volleyball the opportunity to find their group and enjoy the sport in a relaxed environment.
Volleyball Ireland has developed a new Social Volley Support Pack which details Volleyball Ireland’s support for Social Volley initiatives. From public liability insurance to equipment, Volleyball Ireland aims to help social volley groups run their activities in a safe, worry-free environment.

Together with the support pack, the handbook includes information about the new Activator Programme, Associate Club Affiliation and Social Volley Player Membership.
Social Volley Activators will be in charge of running social volley sessions in their community. They will receive administration support from our staff members, training resources and equipment to aid them in delivering sessions.
If you are interested in becoming a social volley Activator, Volleyball Ireland will hold a Social Volley Activator workshop via Zoom on Wednesday July 27th 7.30-9pm, FREE of charge. We will discuss the support pack, the activator role, Volleyball Ireland affiliation and memberships. Our staff will be available to hear your suggestions and answer your questions.
