Regional Development Centre Open Training Night
Target age group – Date of Birth: 2009-2011
Volleyball Ireland is happy to provide open training sessions for young volleyball players to test and experience the first step of our High Performance Pathway, the Regional Development Centres (RDC). Each centre will use 2 x open sessions before selections are made. Our aim is to provide 192 young athletes the building blocks to improve their Volleyball skills.
Each of the four Regional Development Centre’s will train 48 players split across boys and girls programmes.
The cost of the trial will be €10 per athlete

If selected, players will attend three x 2hrs midweek sessions per month. Tournaments and matches will be organised between each centre, over 2 to 3 weekends throughout the year.
This year will see 4 centres running on an East, West, South format:
