As the new year begins so does School Volley Term 2! After a successful Term 1 for Senior Championships, U16 Championship, 4v4 Volleyball and Smash Volley events all across Ireland, Term 2 promises even more excitement and PLAY.Â
It’s now the turn of Junior Championships, Schools Cup and Primary Championships. A total of 368 teams will engage this term to determine champions across 11 competitions.
Junior 6v6 Volleyball continues to attract new schools annually. We would to like to welcome those players and coaches and we hope you enjoy your experience in Year 1. Junior Volleyball has now become our largest 6v6 school competition with a 138 teams taking to the court over the next few months.
Schools Cup remains one of the most coveted prizes in School Volleyball and now with the finals scheduled to take place during VLY. Grand Finals weekend each season, the appetite to succeed has never been greater.Â
Our youngest Championships will also get underway in early February. So far 161 (registered) teams will be currently undergoing training to ensure they are one of the lucky ones that progress to the final on April 7th at the UL Sports Arena, Limerick.
With School BeachVolley ahead of us, there is a lot of action still to come.Â
