In line with the recent Government announcement on the Level 3 restrictions in Dublin, all Volleyball activity under the auspices of Volleyball Ireland and affiliated clubs in the county of Dublin is suspended from midnight this evening (Friday September 18th).
With the exception of:
1/ Team Training and Competitive Matches for affiliated *National League Adult Teams. For clarity this includes teams that are registered to compete in the 2020/21 National League Competition (Premier, Division 1 and Division 2 only).
2/ Outdoor training is permitted in pods of 15, including coaching staff.
Recreational/fun/social sessions are not permitted at Level 3 of the new Living with Covid Plan.
A level by level overview of Volleyball restrictions and protocol guidance will be published in the coming days.
*Volleyball Ireland’s National League is classified as a Senior Club Championship and is exempt from Level 2 and Level 3 pod training and match restrictions. This only applies to teams and players registered and licensed to play in the Volleyball Ireland Adult National League.
