Volleyball Ireland’s Referees were treated to a masterclass with Olympic official Daniele Rapisarda over the weekend. Rapisarda who officiated in the Tokyo Olympics semi-final focussed on a range of topics including; managing player behaviour, positional faults and rule 9.
Volleyball Ireland Vice President Alfredo Aloi commented, “It was a privilege to listen to Daniele share his experiences and wisdom with our referees. I am certain they learnt a great deal from the two workshops. We are grateful to President Manfredi and the Italian Federation for their support,”
Daniele was at VLY. Live thanks to generous support from the Federazione Italiana Pallavollo (FIPAV), who also sent Coach Marco Mencarelli to the Sport Ireland campus.
