Volleyball Ireland are delighted to introduce a series of member think tanks, to help inform competition structure decision making.
The Think Tanks are open to all members who wish to share their ideas for improving the Beach Tour, National League or Youth League competition structures. Registration is essential, at least 72hours before the workshop. Register here.
Beach Tour Think Tank April 8th. Discussion around:
- Competition formats, such as 1*2* / Cup & Plate / King & Queen
- Number of events per year
- Ideal number of teams for each competition
- General feedback to improve event experience
National League Structure April 15th. Discussion around:
- League structure including national and regional competitions
- Playoff systems
- Cup formats
- Number of teams per division
- Future proofing future growth
Youth League Structure April 22nd. Discussion around:
- Age groups
- Game formats for different ages
- Competition weekends
Note: Club Workshops will be held separately and specifically for club-nominated representatives, ahead of the in-person Competitions workshop on June 8th.
