Ireland u18 Women’s Head Coach Matt Hanlon has selected 13 players for this weekend’s u18 Small Countries Association Championships in Malta.
Net Force Cork Setter Alex Harrington will captain the team, which features 5 players from Dalkey Devils, 3 from Galway and players from each of Ballymun Patriots, Portlaoise and Munster Thunder. Avril MacHale who began her volleyball career with Santry also makes the panel.
Ireland face the hosts in game 1 (Friday 1800), before entertaining Scotland (Saturday 1530 ) and Northern Ireland (Sunday 1330). The tournament is a single round robin format.
