u19 Women’s National Team Trials
Volleyball Ireland will host an open trial event in Dublin 15, on Sunday 5th December, starting at 10am. The trial is for girls born after Jan 1st 2004.

Each player will participate in a range of technical and physical tests to measure various aspects of skill. A number of small sided games and 6v6 matches will take place to help identify players will National team potential.
Some key points:
Players must be born on or after January 1st 2004
Players must be willing to commit to a performance volleyball coaching programme and S&C schedule
Players must hold an Irish passport
Players should currently be participating in club and school volleyball activity
Players must be available train for a full weekend at the start of every month
Selected players will be expected to participate in fundraising activities to support attendance at International events and competitions
Selected players must be willing to travel Internationally to represent Ireland
On a short term basis the team will be competing in Dublin on March 12th versus Northern Ireland, and competing in Luxembourg in the Small Nations Championship over the weekend of 7-11th April.
