Tickets are now on sale for the u20 Men’s Small Countries Association Championships, and first round European Championship Qualifiers.
The 5-nation event will take place at Dublin’s Sport Ireland Campus later this month. Ireland will take on Scotland, Northern Ireland, Gibraltar and San Marino, with the winners qualifying directly for the European Championship finals.

Ireland captain Ruairi Grier, can’t wait to get stuck in, “We can’t wait for the SCA Championships! The team’s been preparing well with a trip to Scotland for the Celtic Challenge before Xmas. We are really excited to test ourselves against high level opposition and show everyone what we’re capable of, especially in front of a loud home crowd. It would be great to have as much support as possible, to help us earn a gold medal and a spot in the Finals in June.”
A raucous home crowd helped Ireland come back from 12-8 down in the tie-break to defeat Scotland, the last time the team played in Dublin. That match at VLY. Live was followed by a close defeat in the return match in Glasgow before Xmas, where the hosts edged each set by 2points.
Volleyball Ireland Chief Executive Gary Stewart added, “We last held this event in Spring 2022, and it was a fantastic showcase for the sport. I really encourage supporters to turn out in force to help the lads and create a brilliant atmosphere. We are still looking for a number of volunteers as well, all help is really appreciated.”
