Vacancy – Performance & Pathways Mgr

Volleyball Ireland are delighted to welcome suitably qualified applicants for the role of Performance & Player Pathways Manager.

The Performance & Player Pathways Manager is a newly created position with the successful candidate being able to put their stamp on an ambitious sporting body, leading important projects, developing programmes and providing services to aid the improvement of our National teams, Coaches and clubs within the Irish Volleyball network. Put simply, this role focuses on helping Volleyball players reach their potential both indoor and on sand.

The Performance & Player Pathways Manager will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction of our National Team programme and youth development centre activities providing key support for our Head Coaches. The role will have a main focus on player development pathway programmes to ensure that the Long-Term Player Development Model, and High Performance Framework is implemented.

Reporting to the Chief Executive, the Performance & Pathways Manager will manage key operational activities of National Team programme both indoor and on sand, overseeing the various logistical processes involved with International Competition.

The Performance & Pathways Manager will be an important position with the privilege of impacting strategy through engagement with the Volleyball Ireland board and commissions and will be in the enviable position of making a real difference to communities, clubs and people across Ireland.
