Evgenni Menschikov and Georg Antal lead the Men’s VLY Beach Tour rankings list after a perfect set of results over the 2022 season. The UCD pair are currently 4 from 4 and sit top of the pile.
Janush Stolarek and Piotre Piacek’s 3* win last season, edges them into 3rd and 6th respectively. The consistent Marcin Szlarek and Edgaras Valavicius are currently in 4th and 6th with Julio Rico, Adrian Margol, Ivo Teixeira, Peter Stewart and Gennady Kukjans forming the top 10.
In the Women’s section it’s no surprise that the Guobyte sisters are the top 2 pair with Giedre 12 points clear of her sister. Melissa Cheviron is in third aided by her win pairing up with the senior Guobyte earlier this year. Miriam Gormally, last years 3* champion is in fourth with the consistent Gardians VC pairing of Eliska Cechova and Indre Simkute filling the remaing top 6 spots.
Lina Dzurnak and Poala Rosas, boosted by their 2* win last time out, and Regina Halpin and Mariana Rosas form the top 10.
The 3* event at Bettystown on September 3rd and 4th will decide the overall Tour champions with 96pts up for grabs for the winners. Entries are open until Midnight Monday here.
