The VLY Grand Finals are fast approaching, set to take place from May 1st-3rd at the National Indoor Arena, Sport Ireland Campus. But before we get there, all eyes turn to the Play-Off Weekend, where the final pieces of the puzzle will fall into place.
Taking place on April 25th & 26th, the VLY Play-Offs will be hosted across multiple venues in Dublin, Tipperary, Kilkenny and Cork, with teams battling for their chance to compete on the biggest stage of the season.
Tallaght Takes Centre Stage
The majority of the action will unfold at TUD Tallaght, where an incredible 15 matches will be played across Premier Division, Division 1, Division 2 and Division 3.
With so much on the line, supporters can expect a weekend packed with intensity, drama, and high-quality volleyball.
What’s at Stake?
The Play-Off Weekend will feature:
- Premier Division Semi-Finals – The top teams go head-to-head for a place in the Grand Finals
- Division 2 & 3 Quarter-Finals & Semi-Finals – Teams pushing for a shot at silverware
- Promotion & Relegation Matches – Everything to play for as teams fight to move up or stay up
From heavyweight clashes at the top level to crucial battles throughout the divisions, every match carries significance.

Supporters are encouraged to come along and experience the atmosphere in person, particularly in TUD Tallaght where the bulk of matches will take place.
For those unable to attend, matches will be streamed live on the Volleyball Ireland YouTube channel, ensuring fans don’t miss a moment of the action.
