Sophie Quinlivan Nolan

When asked about her proudest volleyball moment, Sophie's response was "Being selected as part of the squads team". Her favourite thing about competing is "The thrill and feeling of when the team scores such a hard earned point and even not scoring the point the sheer effort and good attitude from the team makes everyone feel so good" and Sophie's biggest volleyball role model is Jordan Thompson. Like many athletes, Sophie does have a pre-game ritual which she tells us consists of "Take 5 minutes to think positive and use imagery picturing myself making a good attack or serve and leaving excess stress going on in life outside the door of the hall , I wake up early on match days and get a good breakfast into me and think about the game before I get to the venue by myself".
