Head Coach Edyta Jozwiak-McMullan has named 14 players for this weekend’s u22 European Championship Qualifiers.
The Gardians Middle and multipl all-star winner has selected Munster Thunder’s Maria Jones as captain, ably assisted by Newbridge wing Sophie Quinlivan-Nolan.
Eight clubs are represented, with eight different schools providing pathways for the team.
Ireland get their campaign underway against hosts Portugal on Friday 21st July (8pm) before matches with Ukraine (Sat 4pm) and Denmark (Sun 4pm).
