The Indoor Regional Development Centres provide first class training for 1st to 3rd year players in Ireland.
Volleyball Ireland aim to support the progression and passion of our more advanced junior players by providing trainings under the guidance of VLY. selected coaches at each centre.
This environment will cater for players currently in 1st , 2nd and 3rd year. The centre will set them on the first stage of the performance pathway and from here hopefully towards national team selection, as well as improving their all round sporting skills. This will have benefits for the individual, their local club and school teams.
Our mission is to assist the region’s higher level players in achieving their individual ambitions while developing players capable of competing on the international stage and within the Volleyball Ireland National League system.
Players eligibility and selection
The Centres will operate in Cork, Galway, Dublin, Laois, Clare and Waterford. Trainings are due to commence in early October with the National RDC tournament to be held on December 20th
Players must hold an Irish passport to be accepted in each Development centre
Upon achieving selection, parents will need to provide consent forms with full or the first instalment payment prior to the third session taking place.
