Volleyball Ireland Announces Departure of Senior Men’s Head Coach Andrei Molnar
Dublin, Ireland — Volleyball Ireland today announces the departure of Senior Men’s National Team Head Coach Andrei Molnar, bringing to a close an impactful eight-year tenure at the helm of the men’s programme.
The Romanian-born coach joined Volleyball Ireland in 2017 and has been instrumental in transforming the national team setup. Starting with a small pool of youth players, Molnar has overseen a period of sustained growth and development, building a foundation that will support the programme for years to come.
During his time with the team, Molnar led Ireland to notable achievements, including a 3rd place finish at the Four Nations Tournament and a landmark victory at the U20 Small Countries Association (SCA) Championships. His commitment to nurturing homegrown talent has significantly expanded the depth and competitiveness of the national squad.
