The schedule for the 2025 VLY Beach Tour is now confirmed, with the full schedule of events below.
With the opening of the new Beach facility on the Sport Ireland Campus at Blanchardstown, more events are planned and, in addition, by utilising that facility, we are now able to mitigate the vagaries of the weather in Ireland which, previously, resulted in cancellations due to adverse conditions.
A number of formats are planned, which include:
Junior Beach Tour events are open for players aged u18 (2v2). Players born on or after 1st June 2007 are eligible for the u18 tour. Junior Beach events are planned for Saturday 14th June, Saturday 5th July and Saturday 16th August.
VLY Beach Tour events will be open to everyone on a first come-first served basis. Fast and ferocious pool play will lead into separate Cup and Plate knockout competitions, ensuring players of all abilities have a chance of success.

Beach Blitz events are intended for newer players to the beach tour. Each event will be played over a 3-hour period with single set matches throughout, and a reward of tour ranking points for the higher ranked teams.
Please note that, for Beach Blitz events, only players with 50 ranking points or less are eligible to take part. If players earn ranking points in Blitz competitions that take them above the 50-point threshold, they are no longer eligible to take part in future Blitz competitions.
Elite Beach Tour events are only for Ireland’s top teams. The best ranked 6 teams plus a maximum of 2 Wildcards will compete in those flagship events. Anyone can enter, but only the best teams from the entry list will gain a place. Elite Beach Tour events have a performance-focus with more profile for top players.

Unfortunately, due to budgetary and staffing reasons, we have had to cancel the competitions that had been scheduled for 20th, 26th and 27th July, and please note that the last Elite Tour event of the season has been postponed to Sunday 14th September (was Sat 13th). Our apologies for any inconvenience caused.
