Denise is the life and soul of Santry VC. She is such an inspiration for players and coaches alike. Her outspoken personality has helped kids, teenagers, players and coaches to express themselves freely whether they have positive or negative feedback. She’s also great at delegating which forces everyone from the club to take responsibility and take matters in their own hands for the benefit of the club.
Denise is a real mentor and is guiding Santry VC on a positive pathway. Denise always shows the core values and culture of the club, embodying Santry VC onto the next generation. Denise is always approachable, whenever anyone is struggling we all at Santry VC know she will support us. Denise is always and prepared whether that be with equipment, players or first-aid kit she always has a plan. brought me extra whistles, scoresheets, first aid kits and we run through my plan. Denise’s nature to help and support others is second to none and is leading the young generations of Santry VC on a bright positive path.
Denise has managed to grow a club from 2 league teams back in 2015 to 6 league teams plus a juvenile section in 2020. Very few clubs can show the same growth over such a short period of time. While also, being an active board member up until 2020.
