Leigh O’Connell is an amazing coach and always positive, she creates a fun environment for all ages to play volleyball in Clare. Leigh’s enthusiasm for volleyball has rubbed off all the junior players in Burren VC this has resulted in the successful launch of the club.
Running a volleyball club is difficult at the best of times but even with a busy family life Leigh does this effortlessly and is an inspiration for all the girls in Burren VC. Leigh’s playing career was mainly with Galway VC and represented Ireland. Everyone on the team looks up to Leigh and wishes to be as successful as she has.
